Leicester sign Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward amid Chelsea interest in Kasper Schmeichel

Leicester City have signed goalkeeper Danny Ward from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has agreed terms on a four-year deal at the King Power Stadium, and becomes Leicester's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of James Maddison, Jonny Evans and Ricardo Pereira.
Ward's arrival will raise questions about the long-term future of Leicester's first-choice shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel

Ward impressed while on loan at Huddersfield Town in the 2016-17 season where he helped the team win promotion to the Premier League.
However, he found game time at Liverpool limited last term - with Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet ahead of him in the pecking order.
"The Club has had that in recent years and hopefully there’s more to come in the future."
Leicester boss Claude Puel added: "I’m very happy to welcome Danny to Leicester City Football Club.
